The experienced candidate will lead development of content for KTVF (NBC), KXDF (CBS), and station social platforms. The KTVF/KXDF News Director is responsible for supervising and coordinating news staff and all efforts leading to quality, relevant content. The news director must use all available resources to make sure content is delivered to Interior Alaska across multiple platforms with trusted accuracy and timeliness. Strong leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to journalistic ethics and standards are a must. A market 202 news director also must possess the ability to teach and lead by example while using the latest technology.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop leads and content for all stations
• Supervision of news staff
• Must be able to teach and support news staff and lead by example
• Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related degree from an accredited four year university.
